    The Parliament is moving to issue a resolution to strip military and security leaders of their foreign nationality and prevent their travel abroad without official action. 
    A member of the parliamentary security and defense committee, Faleh al-Issawi, said that "the subject of nationality includes all officials in the special ranks, but the politician is a thing and a factor in the security services is another thing, as it is unreasonable to be one of them in these organs and defend the security of the country and its economy and has Foreign nationality ". 
    "The parliamentary mobility includes not only army officers, but all officials in sensitive grades in the government departments, and it is unacceptable that officers have a foreign nationality." 
    He pointed out that "last week the issue was raised in parliament strongly, refusing to have officers in the army and in sensitive security places concerned with the security of the state and the nationalities of other countries and their families in other countries."
    "We expect during the meetings of the House of Representatives to ask the commander-in-chief of the armed forces to provide the parliament with the names of officers who have other nationalities because it is a serious issue and touches the security of the country, and the officer must abandon his second nationality or leave the post."

    The parliamentary security and defense committee confirmed that the parliament is moving to issue a resolution to strip military and security leaders of their foreign nationality. "The possession of foreign military personnel is incorrect and harms the work of the military establishment."
