"The Prime Minister, if he is sincere with his people, must make a courageous decision to reduce the salaries of the three presidencies, ministers, bodies and special grades so that they are close to the salaries of state employees," Taie said in a press release.
"Abdul Mahdi must also remove all other privileges that are added to the salary, withdraw the processions from ministers and other officials and maintain a limited number of personal protection," it added.
Al-Tai said: "This measure will save countless amounts that the government can benefit from in all areas," noting: "Reform does not count in the form of the installation of a minister instead of another and the same parties."
