Legal expert Tareq Harb said on Wednesday that the amendment of the constitution will go through three stages, one of which is difficult to achieve, pointing out that the parliamentary amendment committee is obliged to specify the articles to be amended up to four months.
Harb said in a statement to the information that the parliamentary amendment committee will be limited to defining and naming the articles to be changed in the constitution only without discussing them, provided that they complete their work four months according to the constitution.
He added that "the second stage is to identify the articles and to amend them in parliament through other competent committees and vote on them in legal formulation."
He explained that "the third stage, which is difficult to achieve is the popular referendum, where the constitution subject to the approval of the provinces to amend the amendment and in the case of the rejection of three provinces of the Constitution, the amendment will respond in detail."
