    Baghdad:
    Hundreds of youths demonstrated in red hats to demand reforms to existing laws and constitutional articles.
    A member of the coordinating committee for the demonstrations, Amer Najm Salman, told reporters: “The participants in the demonstration who wore red hats are stationed in the sit-in squares in central Kut since October, and they presented a number of martyrs and wounded in order to achieve the goals of the revolution seeking to recover Iraq from the tragic reality that caused it Political and sectarian quotas.

    He added that "the participants in the demonstration chanted slogans refusing to name Allawi as prime minister, and demanding the nomination of an independent figure who had not previously received any government or political position."
    The “Red Hats” demonstration comes in response to the owners of the “Blue Hats” in support of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada Al-Sadr, who imposed their control by force on the demonstration squares in Baghdad and a number of governorates.
