[rtl]Basra / Nina / Director General of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, Safaa Abdel-Hussein, discussed with the Consul General of the Turkish Republic in Basra, Muhammad Ozkun Arman, the joint cooperation and means of enhancing it between the two sides.
A statement of the company stated that its general manager received the Turkish consul today and discussed with him the means of joint cooperation between the ports of Iraq and the Republic of Turkey through its companies operating in the ports and evaluation of the work of those companies. The statement indicated that the general manager presented a summary of the development and acceleration of business and projects in the ports in general and the Al-Faw port and the tunnel project in particular, with a presentation of future projects and a study of the extent of the Turkish companies' ability to contribute to them.

For his part, the Turkish Consul praised during his visit the Ports Company the progress of work and projects in it.
It is mentioned that Iraq’s ports have many projects and contracts with solid international companies from different parts of the world, including the Turkish ones, as these companies contributed to the development of the work and added important and significant achievements.
