    [size=18]On Wednesday, Deputy Raad Al-Dahlaki called on the Prime Minister to issue a decision to Rafidain and Al-Rasheed banks to stop deducting advances from retirees at the present time, given the current situation.


    Al-Dahlaki said in a statement, Alsumaria News received a copy of it, "The government, within several decisions, has stopped obtaining rent allowances and taxes from several sectors due to the current conditions in the country due to the spread of the Corona epidemic and the disruption of public life significantly."







    He added that "the pensioners' segment has always been wronged in all the procedures and decisions issued earlier and today and we have strived to be fair to them and we are still continuing in this aspect, but as it seems, injustice is still continuing by not including them in the state of patience in obtaining any sums as a result of the current circumstances."

    Al-Dahlaki said, "There are many retirees who have received advances for various purposes, and part of their pension is deducted to pay these advances, and surprisingly, the deduction process is still going on until the present time, despite the exceptional circumstances in the country."


    He stressed that "the salaries of retirees are very modest and are sufficient to provide the lowest levels of simple life, therefore, any deduction currently will increase the harm to them, which causes us to call upon the Rafidain and Rachid bankers to wait and stop these deductions in consideration of the current conditions."
