Economic expert, Mohamed Attia Al-Saadi, warned on Friday against betting on the time and the return of high oil prices to cross the current financial crisis the country is going through, criticizing at the same time the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] failing in dealing with the file of low oil prices.
Al-Saadi said in a statement, "The state has no solutions or vision in dealing with the upcoming crisis," noting that "betting on time in high oil prices is a losing bet because the world may suffer for several months from an economic depression and a near-total halt to most factories in the world." .
He added that "the world today is witnessing a decrease in fuel consumption due to the interruption of movement in planes, trains and means of transportation", calling at the same time "the government to take rapid measures to revitalize the agricultural sector, reduce expenditures, cut financial allocations and legalize the salaries of officials."
Al-Saadi warned of the "compulsory saving step and its impact on a large segment of employees with low salaries."
