The Parliamentary Legal Committee concluded, on Thursday, the discussion of the articles and clauses of the Federal Court bill, prior to the convening of the Parliament session, devoted to voting on the law.
The Media Department of the House of Representatives stated, in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of, that "the Legal Committee held a meeting headed by Representative Rebwar Hadi, Chairman of the Committee, and the presence of its members, to discuss the draft Federal Court bill."
The head of the legal committee stressed, "the necessity of resolving the discussions on the draft law so that it can be included on the agenda of the parliament session to vote on it," noting "the importance of the law as the Federal Court is concerned with certifying the results of the upcoming parliamentary elections."
The committee concluded, according to the statement, "reading and discussing the articles and clauses of the Federal Court bill."
With regard to the contentious articles, the committee decided to "present it to the House of Representatives so that it may have the final say in it." Ended 6/29 N
