[size=45]In a statement received by Al-Mada, the bloc said, “In the first article, the written text, the estimates of budget revenues are mentioned in the amount of approximately (101) trillion, and in the same article the phrase (as indicated in Table A-) attached to this law .. But the total revenues mentioned in Table (A) Appendix, registered at an amount of (93) trillion dinars only, and this discrepancy between what is mentioned in Article 1 in writing of revenue estimates and what is mentioned in Schedule (A) Appendix requires a correction according to what Parliament voted in this article.[/size]
[size=45]She added, “Article (2) First -1- The written text states that operational expenditures amount to (5.90) ​​ninety trillion five hundred billion dinars, distributed according to the field (1,2,3) of Table (B), and when table (B) is reviewed. You find that the sum of this amount only in field (1) under the title Total Operational, while field (2) refers to another amount (9) trillion, approximately, in the title of indebtedness, and field (3) in the table indicates the amount of special programs approximately (1,2) trillion “.[/size]
[size=45]The parliamentary bloc continued that “two tables were published attached to the texts of the written budget law, one of which matches the texts written in the budget law with total expenditures (9,129) trillion dinars, and there is another appendix table showing the details of what is mentioned in the leaked budget, which estimated the spending at that time at (164) trillion dinars. The schedule is supposed to be published in its numbers corresponding to the texts of the written budget voted on by Parliament, and the proposed tables are deleted from the government that express texts and materials amended by Parliament and canceled some of them.[/size]
[size=45]The bloc indicated that “the existence of tables within the published law is understood to be part of that law. He will make it in the strength of other schedules. Therefore, we demand the re-publication and correction of the budget law with the attached tables that have been amended by Parliament and not those that were proposed by the government in the leaked budget. Al-Nahj bloc said that "the presence of the phrase (cabinet amendment scenario) at the top of the page in which the table is published at an amount of (164) trillion does not remove the problem, because publishing it in the Al-Waqae 'newspaper is understood from it that it has won the legislative decision and approval!"[/size]
[size=45]The Presidency of Parliament called for an investigation and an explanation of the reasons for this error in the inconsistency between some of the publications in the facts and the one voted on by Parliament.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Waqi’a newspaper published the text of the federal budget law for 2021.[/size]
[size=45]On Thursday (April 8, 2021), the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, ratified the federal fiscal budget law for the current year, calling for the implementation of its provisions to achieve reform.[/size]
[size=45]The president said in a statement that "the approval comes to secure the necessary needs of our people, and to finance the salaries of employees and retirees and the necessary government expenditures in a way that achieves social justice for all regions of Iraq and all segments of society."[/size]
