    Baghdad
    (newsletter).Revealed the u.s. Agency for international development
    that it has support for twelve private enterprise to finance
    micro-projects by increasing the amounts of loans, training and
    technical assistance.

    A statement said the u.s. Embassy in
    Baghdad has received (News Agency) a copy of: the u.s. Ambassador in
    Iraq, Stephen bikroft, Deputy Mission Director USAID David Hardin today
    celebrated five years anniversary of the launch of the Agency's economic
    development program in the provinces, known as "trade" and worth 192
    million dollars.

    It added: in partnership and cooperation with
    the Iraqi Ministry of trade and project beneficiaries and
    representatives from microfinance institutions, "trade" programme could
    contribute to economic growth in Iraqi provinces by developing funding
    services and business development for micro-, small and medium-sized
    enterprises.

    The project provided support to the twelve private
    enterprise to finance micro-projects by increasing the amounts of loans,
    training and technical assistance, thus granting a loan for a total of
    447 billion US dollars and provide 220,000 jobs.

    He said: the
    project "trade" also trained more than 8,300 young Iraqi special project
    management skills and workplace as well as the Mission of the US Agency
    for international development and actively sought to support Iraqi
    families, including religious and ethnic minorities and Mohajeri inside
    through the granting of these vulnerable people's 4,000 class and 270 a
    loan worth "21," $ 1.5 million.

    Bikroft, the Ambassador said
    during the celebration: the trade was designed to help all Iraqis to get
    financial services, we believe that every Iraqi should have the
    opportunity to start a business and work hard to achieve their dreams
    and build a future for their families.

    Deputy Director of the
    u.s. Agency for international development David Hardin: we are proud to
    be part of the project contributes to the development of the lives of
    many Iraqis we have to work together with our partners to create
    sustainable projects sector micro-where the business will be able to
    start their business or their development, creating jobs and investment
    in their country.
