The Council of Ministers decided, during its session today, Tuesday, to fund the Baghdad Municipality $3 billion for the expansion of an international road linking the capital.
And the media office of the Council of Ministers stated in a statement, of which “Nass” received a copy, (June 22, 2021), that “the Council of Ministers agreed to allocate the Ministry of Finance (3 billion) dinars, only three billion dinars, to the Baghdad Municipality from the emergency reserve for the fiscal year / 2021. , to widen Streets (77) and Street (80), and Baghdad-Kut Road, Rustumiya, and return midwives to their correct path according to the technical specifications provided by the Ministry of Electricity, based on the provisions of Article (5) of the Federal General Budget Law for the fiscal year/2021.
The statement added that "the council decided to secure an amount of (2000,000,000) dinars, only two billion dinars for the aforementioned project, through transfers and through coordination between the ministries of finance and planning."
