Deputy Minister of Immigration and Displacement Karim Al-Nouri confirmed, on Thursday, that there are 4 options for those who object to the results of the early parliamentary elections, and he raises a question to the objectors.
Al-Nouri said in a press statement, followed by NRT Arabia, today (October 4, 2021), that "the objectors have four options, not a fifth, as follows:
1- Re-election.
2- Total manual counting and sorting
3- Granting the objectors seats in addition to silencing them by mutual consent without having their votes approved.
4- Counting and partial sorting according to the objections in the boxes.
He added, "The first three options are excluded, but almost impossible, and assuming the second procedure, there are only six seats, distributed among everyone according to their objections, and the objectors may lose some of their seats and the winners will get additional seats."
He explained, "This depends on the possibility of calculating the invalid papers that contain one visa, and we may need more than three months."
And he continued, "As for the fourth option, which is actually the case, the matching was close in most of the governorates, and it is still ongoing."
And he added, "We say it to the objectors: Where are you going in the country and the people?
