    A statement issued by the media of the Ministry of Water Resources stated: "Today, Al-Hamdani visited the governorate of Maysan and discussed with its governor, Ali Douai, the irrigation reality and the water situation achieved in the governorate," explaining that "the meeting was attended by the directors of the administrative units in the governorate and a number of specialized general managers and directors of the ministry's formations." workers in the province.
    Al-Hamdani stressed during the meeting, "the need for everyone to cooperate in order to overcome the water scarcity crisis," stressing "the need for the ministry to take immediate and quick measures to address the continuation of the campaign to remove violations of the taboos of rivers and irrigation projects of all kinds, and to follow up water distributions on all agricultural lands covered by the agricultural plan for the season."
