On Sunday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova blamed Britain for the flow of migrants and the emergence of the "ISIS" organization, through its participation in the invasion and destruction of Iraq and the killing of its citizens.
In response to the statements of British Foreign Secretary Liz Terrace, in which she blamed Russia for the migrant crisis on the Belarus border, she said, "The British invasion of Iraq, which was carefully planned, and the participation of 45,000 British soldiers in helping the United States occupy this country. The killing of its citizens and the pillage of its wealth makes Britain bear historical responsibility for the resulting flows of refugees, the emergence of ISIS, and the humanitarian disasters in this part of the world.”
"Since London has not taken responsibility for its crimes, its officials have no right to blame anyone," a spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry added in a statement on Telegram.
Earlier, the British Foreign Secretary said that "Russia is responsible for the situation on the Belarusian-Polish border," and called on Moscow to "pressurize" the Belarusian authorities to end the crisis.
The border between Poland and Belarus has been in tension for weeks, which intensified in recent days after thousands of migrants gathered there, including a large number of Iraqis, who are trying to enter Poland and then other European Union countries, especially Germany. Ended 29/b88
