A jump in cash sales from the dollar in the auction of the Central Bank of Iraq
Shafak News Agency correspondent stated that today, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, the Central Bank witnessed an increase in its dollar sales by 7.07 percent to reach 212 million and 620 thousand US dollars, which were covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to yesterday, Wednesday, The sales amounted to 202 million, 355 thousand, and 886 US dollars.
Our correspondent added that the bank's cash sales of dollars rose significantly today to 94 million and 720 thousand dollars compared to the previous day, in which cash sales amounted to 57 million dollars, while the rest of 117 million and 900 thousand dollars went to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits. .
Our correspondent indicated that 21 banks have responded to requests to enhance balances abroad, 18 banks to meet cash requests, in addition to 396 mediation companies.
