A decrease in cash sales of the dollar in the auction of the Central Bank of Iraq
Shafak News Agency correspondent stated, "The Central Bank sold today, during its auction to buy and sell US dollars, 248 million and 585 thousand and 323 US dollars, which were covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar.
Our correspondent added; The cash purchase of dollars by banks decreased to 12 million and 950 thousand, while the rest of the amount of 235 million and 635 thousand and 323 dollars went to strengthen balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits.
Our correspondent pointed out that 33 banks have met requests to enhance balances abroad, and 7 banks to meet cash requests, in addition to 79 mediation companies.
