    An informed political source revealed, on Sunday, the scenes of a meeting of the Progress and Al-Azm alliance, indicating that the head of the Progress Alliance, Muhammad al-Halbousi, promised Khamis al-Khanjar to grant him ministerial and sovereign seats in exchange for the presidency of Parliament.
    The source said, in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", that "the Sunni forces, during their meeting, discussed the latest developments in the political situation and the offers made to them by the Sadrist movement in order to enter into an alliance with them."
    He added, "Muhammad Al-Halbousi presented a sovereign position, and he is the Vice President of the Republic, and 3 important ministries, including the Ministry of Defense, and the dagger may choose between trade, health or foreign affairs, as well as 4 embassies, including the designation of ambassadors in Saudi Arabia and Jordan," noting that "among the positions that he presented is a governor's position.
