The representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Ali Al-Jamali, called on the judiciary, on Saturday, to implement death sentences against terrorists languishing in Iraqi prisons in response to the Al-Azim incident, accusing the President of the Republic of refraining from signing death sentences.
Al-Jamali said in a televised interview, followed by "Mawazine News", that "the heinous crime of killing soldiers in Al-Azim district must be met with a firm and immediate response," adding that "the survival of the ISIS criminals without implementing the just retribution against them will give an opportunity to repeat such brutal and inhuman crimes."
He pointed out that "the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, refrains from implementing the ratification of death sentences against terrorists in prison." Ended 29/A 4
