Earth News/ The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities has achieved advanced work stages in implementing the Dujail water project in Salah El-Din Governorate, with an achievement rate of more than 60%.
The ministry's media center stated, in a statement received by Earth News, that "the design capacity of the project is 4000 m3/h, and it will contribute to filling the drinking water needs of the people of Dujail and the surrounding villages."
The statement added, "The project consists of 4 sedimentation basins, a backwash basin, a ground tank, and buildings for low and high thrust, filters, chemicals, energy and management, in addition to the role of engineers and operators, and the network of lines carrying pure water from the pumping station to the sites of high reservoirs with a length of 53 km." .
