[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]On Thursday, former MP Abdul Hadi Al-Saadawi called on the central government to sue and hold the Kurdistan Regional Government accountable and oblige him to hand over all revenues to SOMO.
Al-Saadawi said in a statement that "the Kurdistan region since 2007 until this day has been illegally exporting oil to Turkey and Israel."
He added that "the Federal Court's decision is not surprising, but rather to establish the facts in the Iraqi constitution, and it must hold the Kurdistan Regional Parliament and the regional government accountable and recover all the money owed from 2007 to this day."
Al-Saadawi pointed out that “in the event that the region does not comply with the decision of the Federal Court, it will be held accountable in accordance with the law and the constitution,” noting that “the oil partnership contracts concluded by the regional government are unconstitutional.”
The head of the Parliamentary Rights Bloc, Representative Hussein Hashem Al-Amiri, was the price of the Federal Court's decision and its issuance of a ruling that the oil and gas law in the Kurdistan Regional Government was unconstitutional and obligated him to hand over the revenues to Baghdad. finished / 25 h
