    Yes Iraq: Baghdad

Today, Sunday, the Housing Fund of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities warned of “fake” offices that deceive citizens as an intermediary to promote housing loans.
The fund said in a statement, "We warn auditors against dealing with fake offices and links that are published on social networking sites for the purpose of granting loans by the Housing Fund, because these sites are fake and deceive citizens."
The statement stressed that "the application for housing loans is through the Fund's branches exclusively and through the electronic links on the Fund's website and the Fund's Facebook page, which are documented."
Social networking sites spread pages and accounts claiming to promote housing loan transactions or loans and advances launched by government banks from time to time.
Today, Sunday, Al-Rasheed Bank warned all its customers against dealing with fake offices and links posted on social networking sites for the purpose of granting advances and loans.
And the media office stated in a statement that “there are fake parties that withdraw the documents, the master card and the password from the customer under the pretext of applying for the advances, as they steal the card holder’s data and thus steal his entitlements.”
The bank indicated that “it is not responsible for any data theft that occurs as a result of this transaction,” stressing that “apply for advances and loans through the bank’s branches only and the link on the bank’s official page and Facebook.”
