, a political source revealed, on Monday, the approval of the coordination framework to vote for the candidate of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan for the presidency of the Republic, Barham Salih.
The source said in an interview with "Mawazine News" that "the meeting of the leaders of the framework and the delegation of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan headed by Bafel Talabani ended shortly before reaching several agreements."
He added, "The first agreement was with the approval of the forces of the Shiite coordination framework to vote for the Union's candidate for the post of President of the Republic, Barham Salih, on conditions, most notably his commitment to the constitution and the unity of Iraq, and not assigning a prime minister except by Shiite Shiite consensus."
He added, "The framework and the union agreed to maintain the blocking third and not to ally with other blocs, without the approval of the second party."
With regard to the candidate to head the government, the two parties agreed to support only the candidate approved by the coordination framework. Ended 29 / h
