The source told "Mawazine News", "There are differences and splits within the State of Law coalition after some deputies voted in favor of Barham Salih, contrary to the desire of al-Maliki, who supported the election of Abdul Latif Rashid as president of Iraq."
The House of Representatives elected Rashid as speaker after winning the second round of the voting process by obtaining 162 votes against 99 for the candidate Barham Salih. Ended 29/M99
