The spokesman for the Ministry of Communications, Raad Al-Mashhadani, said in a statement received by Al-Nabaa Agency today, Monday, that "the General Postal and Savings Company issued postage stamps and a traditional knowledge card."
Al-Mashhadani explained, "This came under the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Communications, Engineer Arkan Shihab Ahmed Al-Shaibani, and the Director General of the General Postal and Savings Company, Mr. Idris Khaled Abdul Rahman, the General Postal and Savings Company began issuing postage stamps and a card. This came to be issued within the annual plan of the Iraqi Post for 2022, where the issuance includes ( 4) Stamps in denominations of (250, 500, 750 and 1000) Iraqi dinars, with a number of (5000) stamps for each category, in addition to a card in a denomination of (1500) Iraqi dinars and a number of (3000) cards.
He added, "It was designed by the Iraqi designer Saad Ghazi, and it was printed in the Iraqi Postal Press.
