The Media and Communications Commission announced today, Friday, the amounts collected from mobile companies in 10 months.
The head of the Executive Authority of the Media and Communications Commission, Ali Al-Moayad, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The real number that was obtained from mobile phone companies is (460) billion dinars," noting that "this amount is for 10 months, as for the amount of ( 140) billion dinars, which was announced earlier, and it concerns the first months.
Al-Moayad explained that "this amount is debts, fees and fines imposed on mobile phone companies and collected by the authority within 10 months."
