Al-Sadr gives Al-Sarkhi three days to repudiate the advocates of demolishing the shrines
Shafaq News / The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, on Monday gave the authority, Mahmoud al-Sarkhi, three days to repudiate the advocates of demolishing the graves of "infallible saints and imams".
Al-Sadr said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, "Some of those who belong by tradition to Al-Sarkhi are trying to introduce some deviant beliefs to the sect, the latest of which was issued by the imam of an argument for them in the province of Babylon, who demanded the demolition of the graves."
He added that "the loud voice of the criminal Saddamist Baath, and mentioning their chief (Saddam), should not be silent about it," calling on Parliament to "issue a law criminalizing this immediately."
