Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Municipalities and Tourism of the Kurdistan Regional Government announced, on Tuesday, the allocation of more than 70 million dollars for a water project in Chamchamal district, Sulaymaniyah governorate.
In a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, the ministry said that the Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, agreed to allocate 70 million and 45 thousand dollars for the Gۆptepe - Chamchamal water project.
She indicated that the amount allocated for the project is from the investment budget of the Ministry of Municipalities and Tourism, noting that the project will contribute to solving the water problem in the region.
