    A member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Haitham al-Mayahi, confirmed, on Sunday, that the government will be formed if the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, does not return after the Sadrists' resignation, noting that his party has become the weight of the egg.


    Al-Mayahi said during his speech to the "Twenty" program broadcast by Alsumaria satellite channel, "We are moving towards forming a government," stressing that "all the negotiations and what happened there is something strange. Everything that happens in the houses is in secret."
     





    Al-Mayahi expressed his hope that "the Sadrist bloc will return," adding, "If al-Sadr does not return after negotiations, the government will be formed."
     
    And he continued, "The Kurdistan Democratic Party has become an egg after the withdrawal of the Sadrist bloc," noting that "forming the government has become a duty for all of us."
     
    It is noteworthy that the Sadrist bloc’s representatives submitted their resignations a few days ago to Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, by order of the leader of the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/133517/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%B1 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B5%D8%AF%D8%B1%D9%8A/ar/]Sadrist movement[/url], Muqtada al-Sadr, after which the latter announced his withdrawal from the political process and his non-participation in the upcoming elections with what he described as “corrupt.”
