After the concept of the “largest bloc” was realistically achieved for the Shiite coordination framework, leaders in it revealed that the latter had put in place mechanisms to resolve the prime minister’s file and move forward with the formation of the expected government, continuing pressure on the Kurdish (Democratic) and (National Union) parties to agree on the personality of the candidate for the presidency. And at a time when no official comment or statement was issued by the other political blocs regarding the demands that I put to the coordination, it was not clear what those demands were and whether they were speculation or real.
The representative of the “Extension” parliamentary bloc, Nissan Zayer, said: “After the change in the form of alliances after the withdrawal of the Sadrist movement, the level of the parliamentary map has changed, and these alliances will proceed with the formation of the government.”
She added, "The formation of the government is going on after the announcement of (the largest bloc) under the dome of Parliament and then choosing the President of the Republic who will assign it to nominate the Prime Minister," and indicated that "the new alliances will proceed after the agreements of the political blocs to lay the foundations for those agreements, including achieving the demands of the political blocs and the agreement." And he indicated that "our ambition is to have a real commitment to the agreements and implement them in accordance with the legal and constitutional frameworks, and to create a true balance and partnership between the one Iraqi people who are committed to a democratic system and a single constitution."
