Today, Friday, the Federal Ministry of Electricity revealed its quest to push for more generating energies with the aim of raising total production, increasing processing hours and system stability.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity, Ahmed Moussa, said, "The introduction of new power lines has become dependent on it in generating energy, and there are achievements made on the ground, which positively affected the hours of energy supply."
He added, "The ministry has more generating capacities that will enter service, and they are ready to work if the supplied and national gas emissions are stabilized, and we are preparing to introduce 2,800 megawatts into service, which will raise the total production to more than 24 thousand megawatts."
He pointed out that "with the entry of these new energies that need fuel, we will reach approximately 24 thousand megawatts, and this will reflect positively greatly on the stability of the system and the hours of processing."
He added, "The transmission lines have been completed to drain the produced energy, and the capacities of transformers have been strengthened and changed in larger sizes, and many feeders have been developed, and fixed and mobile stations have also been installed in the load centers," noting that "the energy supply is good throughout the governorates of Iraq, and we are keen to maintain it." and increase it.”
Regarding energy abuses, Moussa stressed that “the ministry continues on a daily basis to raise abuses from electricity to reduce energy loss and organize areas, whether they are random or agricultural,” noting that “the decision of the opinion body in the ministry is to deal with agricultural and slum areas, treating consumers through setting up counters. Providing regular service and collecting electricity fees.
He pointed out that "the opinion board in the ministry decided to deliver electricity to all agricultural and slum areas and villages and organize it in a way that prevents wasting energy."
