The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received in his office today, Monday, the US Chargé d'Affairs in Baghdad, David Burger.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest security and political developments at the regional and international levels, as well as the file of the Syrian al-Hol camp, and prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
Al-Araji pointed out that the support and cooperation of the international community for Iraq helps to dismantle and end the Syrian al-Hol camp, and at the same time spares the region and the world a real danger, and this file must be dealt with very seriously.
For his part, the US Chargé d'Affairs confirmed that his country is waiting for the political impasse to end, to launch areas of cooperation with Iraq that go beyond the security aspect, such as energy, health, education and others.
