Today, Wednesday, December 14, 2022, the President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received the Chargé d’Affaires of the Ukrainian Embassy in Baghdad, Alexander Borvzhenkov, at the Baghdad Palace.
The President of the Republic spoke about the conditions of the Iraqi community in Ukraine and the importance of preserving their security, continuing to provide them with services, and facilitating their movement procedures in a way that preserves their safety.
The President of the Republic expressed his hope to reach peace between Russia and Ukraine, stressing the importance of diplomatic efforts and adhering to dialogue to resolve tensions and problems, consolidate peace and stability, avoid humanitarian and economic repercussions, and preserve the security and safety of civilians.
