Today, Wednesday, Health Minister Saleh Al-Hasnawi announced the inclusion of employees in the health insurance law, stressing the importance of activating it.
The Ministry of Health said in a statement, "In implementation of the priorities of the government program in the health sector, the Minister of Health, Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Health Insurance Authority, chaired, today, Wednesday, the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Health Insurance Authority, and in the presence of a number of officials and experts in the ministry, representatives of the ministries and concerned unions and managers of formations Health Insurance Authority.
The Minister of Health stressed, according to the statement, "the importance of the health insurance law and its activation in order to raise the quality of medical services provided, and that the law aims to care for people with limited income and social care, as well as to include employees in the service provided, which will start from the private and government sectors, and that there are exempted categories." From the symbolic material cost and benefit from the application of the health insurance law.”
The statement added, "During the meeting, mechanisms for registering those covered by health insurance and the use of electronic governance in coordination with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers were discussed in order to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in performance."
