Previous lapses and class differences.. Will the “salary adjustment” see the light or will it remain confined to the committees?

Special..
The new government has taken it upon itself to fix many failures and many crises caused by the previous governments, and the greatest blame falls on the caretaker government. This time it was the turn to amend the salary scale, which is renewed from time to time, especially with the negatives it carries with it, and to work on fairness. A certain category in exchange for a reduction in another category that may be overpaid for what it does.
According to observers, amending the salary scale is a must according to the application of the principle of social justice, which will grant the new government the addition of other job grades and the same wages that it is spending now by reducing the exaggerated salaries.
A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Sajjad Salem, confirms in an interview with Al-Maalouma, that “the salary scale amendment is now in effect according to the white paper before the approval of the general budget,” noting that “the committee that was formed from various ministries is working to amend the salary scale and complete it on the scheduled date.” .
And he shows, “The deadline for completing the amendment to the salary scale is next March 23,” noting that “the joint committee includes a number of experts, specialists, and professional employees in order to come up with an amendment that is fair to all categories of employees.”
For his part, economic researcher Ahmed Eid believes, in an interview with Al-Maalouma, that “the previously approved salary scale in Iraq involves many lapses and problems, foremost of which are the class differences created by the law among the employees of the ministries.”
And Eid continues his speech, that “there are ministries and agencies that receive very large salaries compared to other ministries and institutions, which caused a state of chaos that resulted in the spread of many phenomena, foremost of which is administrative corruption and bribery, which unfortunately now cover all institutions.”
And a member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Ahmed Fawaz, had previously spoken to Al-Maalouma, that “the draft amendment to the salary scale law is among the priorities of Parliament and the government to approve it alongside the Civil Service Law,” pointing out that “the Parliamentary Legal Committee is determined to enact laws that prevail segments of Iraqi society, including the salary scale law.”
With conflicting opinions between supporters and opponents of amending the salary scale, the only question remains during the current stage is whether the salary scale will be modified after the formation of a joint committee from all ministries to complete the amendment on the scheduled date, or will it be resolved under various pretexts.
