, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani returned, on Wednesday, to the capital, Baghdad, after he completed an official visit to the State of Kuwait that lasted hours, during which a series of meetings and discussions took place.
During the visit, Al-Sudani met Kuwait's Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and discussed with him the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, and the emphasis on sustaining mutual cooperation at various levels.
The Prime Minister also met with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and held bilateral discussions with him, which dealt with bilateral relations and the development of joint cooperation. The talks also witnessed an exchange of views on a number of files of common interest, and the continuation of partnership in various aspects of economy, investment and trade.
During his stay in the State of Kuwait, the Prime Minister visited the Kuwaiti National Assembly, and he was received by the Speaker of the Council, Ahmed Al-Saadoun.
The meeting discussed the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries, stressing the importance of cooperation at the parliamentary, governmental and societal levels between Iraq and Kuwait, and bilateral coordination on issues of common concern, regional and international.
