    Economy News _ Baghdad
Today, Wednesday, the Baghdad Electricity Distribution Company announced a comprehensive plan to establish new distribution stations, while confirming that the supply rate reached 18 hours a day.
The director of the Baghdad Center in the company, Ahmed Mohsen Youssef, said in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency and its follow-up, "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the General Company for Electricity Distribution Baghdad prepared a comprehensive plan represented by the establishment of transformer distribution stations and the development of feeders 11 and 33 to accommodate and remove the bottlenecks of the air network in most of the province."
He added, "The 11 KV feeders have been increased over previous years, as the electrical network has reached 2,800 feeders at the present time," noting that "the General Company for Baghdad Electricity Distribution is in the process of accommodating and supplying feeders to solve the bottlenecks of summer 2023."
He stressed that "the processing rate levels reached 18 hours," pointing out that "there are several projects at the present time that have been initiated to accommodate and complete the 2023 plan."
And he indicated that "there are limitations in some areas in Baghdad due to scheduled and emergency maintenance," pointing to taking the necessary measures regarding the plan to absorb energy for the next winter and summer seasons.
