A member of the Labor Committee and civil society organizations, Hussein Arab, confirmed, on Tuesday, that the date for voting on the retirement and social security law will take place during the next legislative term, noting that the law provides for unifying the work of the irregular sectors.
Arab said in a press statement that "the retirement and social security law is still included in the work committee and civil society organizations," noting that "the law will be voted on during the next legislative term with the necessary amendments."
He added, "There is governmental and parliamentary support to expedite the legislation of the law," stressing that "the legislation of the law is the only salvation for the issue of appointments in the government sector and finding an alternative by granting retirement to all workers and regulating the work of irregular sectors.
