Today, Friday, the Ministry of Finance announced the start of auditing the amounts of current expenditures of the ministries for inclusion in the 2023 budget, while confirming the continuation of completing the procedures for installing free lecturers and contracts in the ministries.
The ministry's media office said in a statement, of which Mawazine News received a copy: "The Ministry of Finance has resumed today conducting audits of amounts within the current expenditures of the state ministries whose data were submitted, for the purpose of including them in the draft general federal budget for the year 2023."
The statement added, "The ministry called earlier on all ministries to quickly provide them with details of amounts data within their current expenditures, which include the name of the program and the name of the activity by chapter, subject and type, in addition to detailing the type and the purpose of including those amounts."
The ministry confirmed, according to the statement, the continuation of the efforts of its cadres to complete the procedures for confirming the contracts of the free lecturers segment in the Ministry of Education, in addition to the contract segments in the rest of the ministries, governorates and state institutions received until today.
And the statement continued, “This procedure comes within the framework of the package of instructions implemented by the Ministry of Finance in accordance with the legal powers granted to it, and in implementation of the government program approved by the Council of Ministers, and in light of the procedural plans reinforced by the timings necessary to achieve government priorities in the field of financial management and control of public expenditures.” Ended 29/h
