Erbil announces the completion of 1086 projects during the year 2022

Shafaq News / Erbil Governorate, the capital of Kurdistan Region, announced, on Wednesday, the statistics of completed projects during the past year.
The governor of Erbil, Omid Khoshnaw, said, in a press conference held on the occasion of the two years since he assumed the position, and was attended by Shafaq News Agency: "1086 projects have been completed, at a cost of more than 284 billion dinars, during the past year," noting that "these projects were in various fields, including development." And municipalities, electricity, and precautionary projects against floods, in addition to projects to combat drought in the province.
He added, "According to the agreement between Erbil and Baghdad, which it is hoped to fulfill, the budget for Erbil during the current year will be from 270 to 300 billion Iraqi dinars," noting that "attention will be on strategic projects in the city."
The governor of Erbil stated that "during the past year, 1026 shops were closed due to violating the instructions, as the shops varied from markets, restaurants, and others."
