    On Thursday, February 16, 2023, the Minister of Electricity, Eng. Ziyad Ali Fadel, met with the ministerial team in charge of balancing loads and addressing bottlenecks.[/size]
    [size=45]His Excellency discussed the reality of the system's loads for the governorates of the Middle Euphrates, and the mechanism for developing the necessary and rapid remedies that would achieve stability in the preparation of the Holy Karbala, Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf, Al-Diwaniyah, and Babel, during the next summer.[/size]
    [size=45]The Minister made it clear that all the projects and programs adopted by the Ministry must be touched by the citizen realistically through electricity hours.[/size]
    [size=45]He was briefed on a field-studied mechanism to increase the capacities of transmission lines and convert their circuits into double in order to reach larger discharge capacities,
    and the possibility of benefiting from adding the installation of main power transformers in substations to achieve the required availability,
    as well as addressing distribution problems to reach stability.[/size]
    [size=45]The meeting included directives to press the time ceilings and achieve feeding sources for the distribution stations in the holy Karbala, modifying and cutting the diagonal of the 132 kv lines in the holy Najaf, and investing the Abbasid, Haidaria and northern Kufa lines, in favor of addressing the low voltages, as well as working to add boxes to achieve load balancing for each of Diwaniyah and Babel
    , Especially after operating the Babel Transformational Station 400, the Abu Gharq station, the mill and tire stations, and coordinating directly with the Operation and Control Department and the National Control Center.[/size]
