Today, Tuesday, a document of the National Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) showed that the region has not delivered its sales of crude oil through the Turkish port of Ceyhan since the beginning of 2023.
The document, obtained by (Baghdad Today), said that "there are no sums paid to the Ministry of Finance - SOMO from the Kurdistan Region, for the period from 1/1/2023 to 28/2/2023, which amounted to more than (1.8) billion dollars."
And the document added, We include for you herewith (below) a table showing the quantities of crude oil exported from the fields of the Kurdistan region that are under the control of the region from the Turkish port of Ceyhan, as of January 1, 2023, until the end of February 2023, and according to the information received from the North Marketing Company. ".
