    Baghdad today - Baghdad
Today, Sunday, the expert in oil affairs, Hamza Al-Jawahiri, revealed the fate of Iraqi oil exports through the port of Ceyhan and its impact on the global market, after the French court's decision against the exports of the Kurdistan region.
Al-Jawahiri said, in an exclusive interview with (Baghdad Today), that "the decision of the Paris court will not increase Iraq's export of oil," noting that "the oil that was exported by the Kurdistan region is within Iraq's share determined for it by (OPEC)," pointing out That "this decision will not have any impact on increasing the amount of supply in the global market."
Al-Jawahiry added, "The decision of the arbitral tribunal of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris will not have any impact on oil prices in the global market," explaining that "the export of oil through the port of Ceyhan from Iraq to Turkey will continue, but it will be with the knowledge and approval of the federal government and under the supervision of And the region has nothing to do with this case anymore.”
In a case that dates back to 2014, that is, about ten years ago before international courts, Iraq won a ruling in a lengthy international arbitration case against Turkey related to Kurdish oil exports.
And the Ministry of Oil in Iraq announced that exports of 450,000 barrels per day of crude oil from the autonomous Kurdistan region and the Kirkuk fields in the north of the country have been halted, after Iraq won the long-running arbitration case against Turkey.
