    Information / special.
On Sunday, the representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Ali Turki Al-Jamali, ruled out passing the general amnesty law during the next stage, indicating that the details of the law were not discussed in the corridors of the House of Representatives.
Al-Jamali said, in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, that "there is no objection to the existence of a general amnesty law, provided that it does not include murderers, terrorists in prisons, and corrupt politicians."
He added, "There is a political debate regarding the legislation of the general amnesty law," ruling out "any consensus on it in the near future."
He pointed out that "the reason for not presenting the law so far inside the Parliament building is the political dispute over it," stressing that "the details of the general amnesty law were not addressed in the corridors of the House of Representatives."
And the controversial politician Khamis Al-Khanjar’s statements regarding the approval of the general amnesty law and the release of convicts accused of terrorism have already raised concerns. End / 25h
