The Ministry of Justice refuted the rumor of a "new special amnesty". [/rtl]
[rtl]The ministry stated in a statement that "some media outlets and social media circulated a book issued by the Ministry of Justice / the office of the senior undersecretary with the number (373) on 3/12/2023, the subject of which is (a special pardon for the convicts). [/rtl]
[rtl]And she emphasized, "There was confusion and suspicion by the announcers of the news with the publication of the book in question as issuing a (new special pardon) for the convicts, while if the content of the book had been checked, it would have It was found that it clearly refers to the names of the convicts who were issued republican decrees against them and their inclusion in procedures Special pardon for the years (2007 to 2022) and not with the content (new special pardon). [/rtl]
[rtl]And the ministry stated, "One of the tasks and powers of the Ministry of Justice is to implement judicial rulings, decisions, and republican decrees, and it is not competent to issue any pardon." [/rtl]
[rtl]She denied "what was reported about the existence of a new special amnesty," noting that "the aim of the book is to indicate the names received by the ministry from the competent authorities." [/rtl]
