    The "Sadiquon" parliamentary bloc, affiliated with the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq movement, attacked the Dry Canal project or the so-called "development path", describing it as a "disgrace" and "another bill" paid by the Iraqi people."

    The representative of the block, Hassan Salem, said in a blog post, “The dry canal project, or what is called the development path (falsely), is another bill paid by the Iraqi people because of the failure of the political class that was saturated with the virus of corruption that made them not distinguish between harmful and beneficial, and they became captives and humiliators of their enemies, thinking that they will perpetuate. In their positions and privileges, they forgot (God gives grace and does not neglect) and history will not have mercy on them, and generations will hold them accountable for stealing their rights and their future.[/rtl]
