    Baghdad today - Baghdad
    Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed today, Thursday (December 7, 2023), that the development path will contribute to achieving economic development for the region and the world.
    Al-Sudani’s media office said in a statement received by Baghdad Al-Youm, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani received today the Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rashad Nabiyev, who is visiting Iraq to participate in the third meeting of the joint Iraqi-Azerbaijani committee, accompanied by a delegation from Azerbaijani businessmen.
    He added, "During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed, and mutual cooperation was strengthened in the fields of energy, education, communications, infrastructure, housing, and defense industries," noting that "the relations between the two friendly countries are witnessing tangible steps."
    He pointed out that “the strategic development path project, which will contribute to achieving economic development for the region and the world,” while touching on the events in Gaza, praising “the position of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in activating Article (99) of the United Nations Charter,” calling on “Islamic countries To support this initiative.
    For his part, the guest minister conveyed to the Prime Minister “the greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and his country’s desire to develop bilateral relations with Iraq, and the aspiration for the involvement of major Azerbaijani companies in the Iraqi economy,” stressing “his country’s readiness to receive Iraqi students to study in military academies at the expense of Azerbaijani government.
