Political analyst Sabah Al-Aqili saw, on Thursday, that the US administration's interventions and attempts to dissolve the popular crowd by putting pressure on government parties represent an insult to the country and a violation of sovereignty, and an acknowledgment of its fear for its interests in Iraq and the region.

Al-Aqili told Al-Maalouma, "America was betting on the survival of the terrorist ISIS on the land of Iraq for 30 years, but the formation of the Popular Mobilization Forces disappointed all Washington's expectations and managed to eliminate terrorism and declare victory within 3 years."
He added, "What the Popular Mobilization Forces achieved during the aforementioned period of victory over the criminal ISIS made America consider it its first challenge in Iraq, which prompts it to try to pressure the government parties to take decisions to solve it."
And he indicated that "the capabilities of the popular crowd made America concerned about its interests in Iraq and the region," noting that "Washington's interference in Iraq's internal situation and its attempt to dissolve the crowd represents an abuse of the country's sovereignty." ended 25 n
