The US Securities and Exchange Commission is facing its first deadline to decide on seven spot applications for Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs, the latest of which is on Sept. 4, amid its defeat by Grayscale Investments in a US federal appeals court.
Investment firm Bitwise will know if its ETF wins SEC approval on Sept. 1, while BlackRock, VanEck and Fidelity ( Fidelity, Invesco (NYSE:IVZ) and Wisdomtree will all await the SEC's decision on their funds by Sept. 2, according to several SEC filings.
Meanwhile, Valkyrie is scheduled to hear back from the SEC on September 4.
