    The Ministry of Finance revealed, on Tuesday evening, a procedure regarding the salaries of employees of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

    The ministry said in a statement, "Based on the approval of the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1122135457/%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%A1/ar/]Council of Ministers[/url] and in implementation of what was stated in its decision No. (23500) in its session held on Sunday, September 3, 2023, the Rafidain and Rasheed Banks will sign a loan agreement with the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/3238106360/%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A9/ar/]Ministry of Finance[/url] in the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] region to pay the salaries of the region's employees with a guarantee of a deposit to be submitted to the Ministry." Federal finances, provided that they are settled from the dues of the region after their commitment to the provisions of the budget law.



    The statement added, "The [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/3238106360/%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A9/ar/]Ministry of Finance[/url] is keen to guarantee the financial rights of all citizens and employees in accordance with what is imposed by the stipulated controls and instructions," explaining, "Therefore, the federal government decided to disburse financial loans to the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/133481/%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%88%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A5%D9%82%D9%84%D9%8A%D9%85 %D9%83%D8%B1%D8%AF%D8%B3%D8%AA%D8%A7%D9%86/ar/]Kurdistan Regional Government[/url] as salaries for its employees, and the representative of the region must coordinate with the banks above for the purpose of signing the Minister of Finance." In the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/133481/%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%88%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%A5%D9%82%D9%84%D9%8A%D9%85 %D9%83%D8%B1%D8%AF%D8%B3%D8%AA%D8%A7%D9%86/ar/]Kurdistan Regional Government[/url], the loan agreement referred to in the decision in question.
