    The Supreme Commission for Coordination between the Governorates showed that health and educational projects lead in lagging rates, especially the schools of Project No. 1 and the large hospitals.
    The head of the authority, Ahmed Al-Fatlawi, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah” followed by “Al-Iqtisad News” that the lagging projects that fall within the two regional development programs and the local budgets of the governorates are very few compared to the projects implemented by the ministries, with the exception of Salah al-Din Governorate, which has approximately a thousand projects within these projects. Programs.
    He added that the most procrastination affects ministerial projects, and at the top of the pyramid stand the schools of Project No. 1 of the Ministry of Education, which is considered a stubborn knot, noting that the government has found solutions for the largest number of them through the special committee it formed, headed by the Minister of Planning, Dr. Muhammad Tamim, to discuss this issue, except There are still quite a few projects distributed among the governorates for projects with great complications. It is expected that radical solutions to this issue will soon be found after it has been discussed more than once by the Council of Ministers.
    Al-Fatlawi stated that the lagging projects that come in second place among the ministries’ projects are the large hospitals that were referred during a certain period, and are now in the process of finding solutions for them, stressing that the rest of the projects are being solved successively and according to the problems specific to each of them, in addition to the existence of serious follow-up on a number of lagging projects.
